Effective date: [May 28, 2026] Last updated: [Jun 19, 2026]

[Field Book] ("[Field Book]," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by [Toymakers Labs Ltd]. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using [Field Book] (the "App"), you agree to the practices described here.

If you have questions, contact us at [playtime@toymakers.fun].

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information.

Account information. When you create an account or sign in using a third-party provider (such as Sign in with Apple or Google), we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple's private email relay, we receive only the relayed address.

Content you create. We store the content you add to the App, which may include text, posts, nodes, images, and photos captured through your device camera or selected from your photo library. This content is stored so the App can function and so your data persists across sessions and devices.

Search queries and related content. When you use semantic search, the text of your query and the content being searched are processed to generate vector embeddings that power the search experience. See Section 3 for the third parties involved in this processing.

Usage and device information. We may collect limited technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, crash logs, and basic interaction events. This helps us diagnose problems and improve the App.

We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, health data, or financial information unless you explicitly provide it through a feature that requests it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and operate the App and its features;

  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure;

  • Store and sync your content;

  • Power semantic search and related functionality;

  • Diagnose technical issues, prevent abuse, and improve performance;

  • Communicate with you about service-related matters; and

  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to serve third-party advertising.

3. Third-Party Services (Sub-Processors)

We rely on the following service providers to operate the App. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service:

  • [Supabase] — backend infrastructure, authentication, and database storage for your account and content.

  • [OpenAI] — generates text embeddings used for semantic search. Query text and the content being indexed may be transmitted to this provider for processing. We do not permit this provider to use your data to train its models where an opt-out is available, and we configure our integration accordingly.

  • [Apple / Google] — identity providers used for sign-in, if you choose those options.

  • [Apple App Store / TestFlight] — distribution and crash reporting.

These providers may store data on servers located outside your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle data consistent with this policy.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only:

  • With the service providers listed above, to operate the App;

  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete specific content, it is removed from active systems and deleted from backups within a reasonable period. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within [30] days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App at [Settings → Account → Delete Account], or by emailing [playtime@toymakers.fun].

To exercise any other rights, contact us at [playtime@toymakers.fun]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, our legal bases for processing include performance of our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under [13] (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at [playtime@toymakers.fun]] and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

If you access the App from outside [country where your servers / company are based], your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
